To really get noticed, you need to put forth the extra effort that really shows into assignments —without being asked. ### **Say “Yes” to Volunteer Requests** Chances are when your boss asks people to volunteer for extra shifts or special projects, the room goes silent. Instead of sitting back and waiting for someone else to find a solution, take the initiative to figure it out yourself. Your supervisor will be impressed with your creative thinking, which will certainly set you above your peers. ### **Carve Out a Niche** You’re already great at your job, so take things up a notch by finding a specialty. Becoming the go-to person for this area will allow you to create a name for yourself.
